Beyond Redemption

Preacher:
Passage: 2 Chronicles 33
Service Type:

Doubt is something every Christian is tempted to undergo (1 Corinthians 10:13). Doubt because of personal sin is one of many challenges Christians face. Sin often leaves us feeling empty and alone even after we've repented of our sins. In those moments we question God's forgiveness. Am I beyond redemption? Can God really forgive me?

This sermon by Andrew Fleming challenges you to consider who God is. In the perilous times of the Kings, Manasseh is one of the wickedest kings you could read about, yet God allowed him to reign 55 years? Why? Why does God show so much mercy and grace? Are our attitudes and sinful flesh really so different than Manasseh's? How does our sin start small and take us farther than we want to go and keep us longer than we want to stay? Where were Menasseh's gods when he was taken into captivity? Where are our idols when we are suffering? Is Manasseh praying a foxhole prayer? In our humanity, how would we respond to Manasseh's plea?

Find out the answers to these questions in this Sundays sermon. We hope you are blessed by the ministry of Calvary Baptist Church. Please reach out to us if you have questions and concerns. You can find our contact information under our "contacts" tab.
