The Gospel Is Not an Island

Passage: Titus 3:1-8
Service Type:

What is central to your life? Many people would say their job. Some would say their family, house, or material possessions. For the Christian, what must be central above all else? The Gospel must impact everything. How you treat your family, how much effort you put into your job, what you allow to come out of your mouth. Everything.

Christians need to show a changed heart so the gospel can be attractive to a lost world. Over 100 years ago Charles Haddon Spurgeon wrote, “This boastful nineteenth century demands a new God, a new Christ, a new heaven, a new hell, a new gospel, and everything else new except a new heart.”

Are you showing a new heart in your daily life?

We hope you were blessed and challenged by the ministry of Calvary Baptist Church. Here at Calvary, we understand the power of prayer (Mark 11:24, Philippians 4:6-7) and would humbly ask you if you would be willing to pray for Calvary Baptist Church. Please pray that we would be faithful to the Lord and that we would be a beacon of bright light in this dark world. If the Lord would lead you to consider supporting Calvary financially you can follow the link below. Any gift, no matter how small, will be used to further the Lord's work.
